Gemini was founded in 2020 by Alina and Alisha Keshwani. When they noticed the overwhelming academic struggles their peers were facing in the transition to online education during the COVID-19 pandemic, they knew something had to be done. In hopes of creating a sustainable solution that would support students for years to come, they created Gemini to bridge gaps in the education system. After establishing partnerships with schools and non-profits around Iowa, the result was clear: Gemini students' passion for learning reached new heights. Now that Alina and Alisha are attending the University of Michigan, Leah Thomas manages operations in Iowa while they are focusing on expanding Gemini to support students around the nation.
